AOAO continues to rack up additional and unnecessary charges and fees.
Almost one year with an abandoned construction site for the extended lanai owners on the 2nd and 3rd floor. ELO's contend every other unit in the building whom all have views of this fiasco from their windows are suffering from the inability to charge premium rates for their units...with no end in site.
Extended Lanai Owner...
"In one incident the Board failed to pay the contractor who then walked off the job...wouldn't you? In another, the Board demanded, in mid construction, that the contractor get a surety bond that the Board did not require or enforce upon their recent pool renovation project so he again walked off the job. Why would the Board do that except to further delay the project?"
Update: Look at these recent pictures of the buildings structural components which were hastily left open to the ocean and elements last year.
Every time the KMS contractor performing the lanai construction work, packs up and goes home, the AOAO is charged a fee of thousands of dollars. Who is going to pay for this? The ELO's have had zero to do with any delays.
